Dr. Ronn-Vey C. Price

Dr. Ronnvey C. Price crossed into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. through the Pi Beta Chapter at Illinois State University in Fall 2006. His journey to China began after teaching on Chicago's South Side, where he witnessed the devastating effects of homicide, drugs, and senseless violence on far too many young people. As the emotional and physical toll began affecting his own health, his doctor encouraged him to seek a new environment. Inspired by a lifelong passion for martial arts and an opportunity to teach in China, Dr. Price embraced the chance to begin a new chapter while pursuing a childhood dream.

Today, Dr. Price serves as an international educator and martial arts instructor in southern China, where he is passionate about sharing African American culture while embracing cultural exchange in the internationalist spirit of Malcolm X. He was also one of the founding Brothers who helped charter the Chi Mu Nu Chapter in Shanghai on December 1, 2018. With years of service, leadership, and dedication to the fraternity, he remains committed to the continued growth and success of Omega Psi Phi in China, guided by the advice of his grandfather and fellow Omega Man, Jim Bibbs (1951): "Keep the main thing the main thing."
