It Started In Shanghai
On December 1, 2018, a group of dedicated men gathered in Shanghai to charter Chi Mu Nu, extending the mission of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. into China. What began as a shared commitment among brothers living and working far from home has grown into an active chapter serving communities throughout China and Asia. In the years since, we have organized volunteer initiatives, built partnerships with local schools and organizations, and brought people together through cultural engagement and service. Our purpose has stayed the same from that first day: to promote leadership, scholarship, mentorship, and service wherever our members live and work.

Our members come from many backgrounds, professions, and nationalities, yet we are bound by a brotherhood that has held strong for more than a century. That bond means even more thousands of miles from where the fraternity began, and it shapes how we show up for one another and for the people around us. Guided by the Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift, we invest our time in youth mentorship, scholarships, cultural events, and community service throughout China and Asia. We pair a legacy that stretches back to 1911 with a global perspective, welcoming people from all walks of life into the work. Everything we do reflects our commitment to lifting the communities we are proud to call home.
